Where are we?

Pôvabnica estate is located in the outskirts of the town Hurbanovo. This is located 16 km from Nové Zámky, 20 km from Komárno and is very popular amongst cyclists, skaters and pedestrians.

The advantage of this location is its easy access on a paved road and at the same time the feeling that the land is located "at the end of the world", far from civilization and everyday hustle and bustle.

The location is far enough from the town with a beautiful starry sky at night and an exceptional view of the rolling hills.

The land is in the middle of an intensively agricultural landscape, which emphasizes its environmental importance in contrast to the surrounding monoculture fields.

This agricultural area is characterized by devastating periods of drought, with the nearest source of water in the form of the Ibolyáš stream, or the Žitava river, more than 3 km away through the village. For animals, this means migrating tens of kilometers a day for water, while they have to overcome a railway line and a busy international road.
